The Baby Boom has started to retire, and the Mankato area can benefit from their energy if they "Age to the Max" ...

By 2030, Minnesota will have more retirees than school children. Until 2060, the aging of our population will dominate every aspect of our society.

VINE Faith in Action is creating a "one-stop shop" for aging adults to improve physical health, socialize with peers, volunteer to help others, and access needed services. This new community resource will include:

• a state-of-the-art adult respite center (a break for caregivers!)
• a café (everyone is welcome for breakfast, coffee, or lunch!)
• a fitness center with a warm water exercise pool
• community meeting rooms
• a large chore garage
• VINE office space

Help us re-purpose the Nichols Building as an adult community center! Blue Earth County will sell the 60,000 square foot building to VINE for $1 IF we can raise the money needed to renovate this spacious, well-built local landmark.
