What will we do with this building?
Floor Plans
Leased space on the upper two floors will provide room for expansion and earned income through fitness center participant fees, leased space and rentals. Revenue raised will assure the sustainability of the Adult Community Center and VINE Faith in Action’s non-profit efforts. Our plans fully align to the recommendations of the National Institute of Senior Centers.

How Much Will This Cost?
Essential renovation costs (windows, roof, elevator, asbestos abatement, and parking lot improvements) are estimated at 1.7 – 2 million. In addition, an average of about $40/sq. ft. will be needed to build out each floor and $380,000 to construct an adjacent chore garage and warm water therapy pool. The Nichols Building rehabilitation is designed to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Qualifications.
